Week 50: The Real Estate Brand Year End Review

Welcome to Week 50: The year is nearly over!  This week, I’m delighted to share with you Chris’s year-end recap of 2017!

Greetings ~

It’s hard to believe another year has come and gone.  As I have each of the last four years, I want to take a moment to update you on our progress at ROOST Real Estate Company.  More importantly, I want to recognize our team of real estate professionals for their dedication and hard work this year.  I also want to thank our business partners for their continued support and encouragement.

I estimate our total sales for 2017 will close with a 15% increase to 2016.  This will mark our fourth year of solid growth, positive comparable sales to the year before, and increased market share.  Our agents continue to see record growth in their individual businesses and personal income.  We are making great progress towards my goal of leading the industry in average agent productivity.

We also laid significant ground-work for the future this year.  We completed the Franchise Disclosure Document for Real Estate Brands Ltd- the franchising entity for ROOST Real Estate Co. and Lucky Town Real Estate Co.  I expect to begin marketing ROOST and Lucky Town franchises in 2018.  We will focus on Ohio, Florida and Tennessee over the course of the next few months.

I also completed my third book: A Real Estate Broker’s Guide to Entrepreneurial Success – Take a Look at Your Future. This book explains what makes our approach to real estate brokerage unique in the market.  I have spent much of my time the last three years documenting our processes and systems, and defining our brand.  I look forward to getting our message out to the industry in the years ahead.

Part of getting our message out to the world means creating a new marketing and communication platform.  I am excited to announce that I have signed a contract to begin the build on what I call ‘ROOST 2.0’.  ROOST 2.0 is more than just a new website, it is the foundation for all our future internet based direct marketing activities.  The new www.ROOSTRealEstateCo.com website should go live late next spring.

I could not be more excited about our plans for the future.  Again, thank you to our staff, agents, business partners and clients for a record breaking 2017.
