The Holiday Season is the most important time of the year for agents who work by referral.
The holiday season in the USA starts with Halloween and spills like a hangover into the first week of January. It happens this way every year. When it comes to working by referral, the holidays are the most important time of the year for our agents.
The key is to approach the season with an attitude of gratitude.
This is the time when making calls, writing notes and cards, giving gifts, going to parties, and popping by to visit members of your database are the most natural activities imaginable.
For many of us, the holidays are a hectic, stressful, and even overwhelming. This is all the more reason for all of us to spend some quality time focusing on others instead of own worries and aggravations.
Your task this week is to review the past year and look for people that you need to thank. My guess is you will discover multiple opportunities to express your appreciation to those who have made your business such a success this year.
